Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Rose 2015

Product Description

Mainly Grenache, then Cinsault and Syrah.

The vineyards of “Belleruche” rosé are located on old fluvioglacial terraces, on the right bank of the Rhône. The soil is composed of sand and clay.

Grapes are pressed directly without any maceration. Then the must is separated whilst still cold. The alcoholic fermentation is performed for about 20 days and the temperature is regulated around 15°C.

For the last two hundred years in the Rhone Valley, and today also in the Roussillon and in Australia, Chapoutier has been producing some of the greatest wines: Hermitage, Côte Rôtie, Chateauneuf du Pape, Saint-Joseph, Crozes Hermitage, Luberon. Their own vineyards and the single vineyards they select are cultivated either organically or biodynamically to respect the terroir. All labels are also in braille.
